Htc desire where is sd card folder

I sent some files via Bluetooth to my computer. Where are they? How do I add my operator's Access Point Name to my phone? How do I enable or disable a device administrator app?

Use a file management app. You can also go to the storage settings to copy or move files and folders from internal storage to your SD card. Copy or move photos and videos from the internal storage to the storage card Make sure that a storage card is inserted in your phone. Tap Images and Videos. Your phone then looks for these file types and displays the files.

Do any of the following: Press and hold a file to select it. To select more files, tap each file. Tap to open the slideout menu, and then tap the storage card name. Choose an existing folder or create a new folder. Tap Copy or Move. You will simply have to open your file manager which is probably in your list of apps. Once there you will be able to move to the folder in which you want to create a subfolder then click the three small vertical dots And click create a folder.

JayCee Distinguished Member. Download Astro file manager from the market and that will enable you to see the contents of the phone and the SD card. Thanks ,that works although it says it won't play avi's anyway. Thanks for your help ,this phone is too complicated for me! RobM Distinguished Member.

You need to change the default connection type to "Disk Drive" to get the SD card to come up as drive letter on your PC. Not sure which one is out of the box default, but it wasn't "Disk Drive" for me. Last edited: May 10, Zarch said:. Ok i've connected it up as disc drive and it comes up on my pc as removable disc f but there is no root file ,the only files that show up are Should there be a folder named root?

What you are seeing is the root directory on the SD Card JayCee said:. Oh i see now! So i just load music or films anywhere within the window and not in any specific folder? There are great Android tips here. Mec Active Member. To be fair, just going to that link doesn't really answer the OP's last question. I would like to know that too! Does one have to create a new folder or just drop the movie's file straight into the sd card root directory??

Agreed, for your own sanity create separate folders on your SD card at root level. Thanks for the help and link.
