There are picnic tables throughout these trails where you can enjoy a meal with friends or sit and watch the wildlife. With so many miles of trails, you can spend the day or just a half hour decompressing out in nature. The trails maps show 3 main natural areas that you can explore.
In the northwest corner of campus, a loop around Lake Claire will take you through scrub and baygall communities. Newman nature pavilion is a great place to gather with a group and grill some food Pavilion reservation link and take a hike through Mesic and Scrubby Flatwoods. All of these systems are managed with prescribed fire, so please be mindful of areas that might be closed due to fire. Make a right turn at the first light , Gemini Blvd.
Take SR 50 to Alafaya Trail. Make a right hand turn on Alafaya Trail. Continue on Alafaya Trail to University Blvd. Make a right turn on University Blvd. Then follow the signs to the Visitor's Information Center. Continue until you reach east. Exit off of to University Blvd East. Continue on University Blvd. Option 2 — Take I north to West. Continue West and the road will merge with SR Make a right turn on Alafaya Trail. Continue for approximately 2 miles to University Blvd.
Make a right turn at the first light,Gemini Blvd. Turn right on Alafaya Trail, go north for two miles. Turn right onto University Blvd. Make a right turn at the first light Gemini Blvd. Option 2 — Take I-4 West to South. Exit off of at University Blvd.
